Maintenance Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Handyperson. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with general repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime
- Assist with repairs and installations as required
- Conduct regular safety checks to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures
- Maintain and order parts and supplies while minimizing waste and promoting 'green' initiatives
- Full working rights in Australia without restrictions
- Relevant experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hotel maintenance/engineering experience is preferred
- Ongoing availability to work flexibly as rostered, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Possession of professional certification and licenses if required by law
- Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene
- Good customer service skills and confident verbal communication
- An organized approach, ability to handle large amounts of information at once and deal with various requests simultaneously
