Defense Mechanic Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work with military hardware, performing maintenance and repairs on unique equipment.

As a skilled mechanic, you will use your expertise to inspect, repair, and recondition military vehicles and assets.

Our team is seeking an individual with strong mechanical skills and a detail-oriented approach to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on military hardware
  • Inspect and certify plant and equipment for serviceability
  • Safely operate machinery to repair and manufacture parts
  • Provide support to Defence Bases across the state as required

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting
  • Valid Australian Driver's License
  • MR of HR License (desirable)
  • Physical fitness and ability to work hands-on
  • Australian citizenship and ability to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
