Job Title: Cyber Security Expertise InstructorCyber security is an increasingly important aspect of our digital world. As a senior lecturer or associate professor in cyber security, you will play a crucial role at UNSW Canberra, contributing to the university's teaching, research, and administration.Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to teaching, research, and administrative activities within the Canberra School of Professional Studies, applying strong technical expertise in cyber security and computer science.
  • Develop and deliver courses; supervise higher degree by research students; contribute to quality assurance and program review.
  • Engage with industry and professional bodies; support students; participate in other administrative duties aligned with school and faculty objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A PhD in a related discipline, plus relevant work experience.
  • A good track record of research and publication and/or competitive research income in a chosen field.
  • Demonstrated expertise and currency in some of the listed technical aspects of cybersecurity.
  • Evidence of teaching and learning design, development, delivery, and pastoral care of students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with positive evaluation.
