Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Strategist to develop and implement purchasing strategies that drive business results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality/restaurant purchasing and proven experience of driving results through strategic sourcing initiatives.
The role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies to ensure efficient, cost-effective procurement of goods and services for new requirements where there is no contracted supply.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that meet business objectives.
- Manage the implementation of sourcing projects at site and operational level in accordance with the Group Procurement pipeline of work.
- Deliver tactical sourcing activities by obtaining quotes, supplier selection and negotiation for new requirements.
The successful candidate will be a passionate leader who has experience managing relatively large teams with a focus on developing capability and excellent levels of service.
- A strong background in hospitality/restaurant purchasing with proven experience of driving results.
- Leadership mentoring and coaching skills.
- Excellent supplier management skills and proven experience delivering product sourcing strategies.

- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and deliver sustained cost saving and cost containment opportunities.
