**Join Us as an Associate DevOps Engineer**

We're seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our DevOps team, you'll take ownership of shared platforms and drive improvements to CI/CD tools, configuration management, AWS networking infrastructure, security, logging, and monitoring.

You'll work closely with development teams to assist and recommend deployment and implementation patterns with various applications being deployed. Your role will include identifying and owning opportunities to simplify or automate systems and processes, maintaining CI/CD pipelines across several product lines, and consolidating tooling and deployments.

**What You Will Do**

This position will be based in our Sydney office, with a minimum of two days per week attendance required. However, you may elect to work remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining three days of the week.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Take ownership of shared platforms, including CI/CD tools, configuration management, AWS networking infrastructure, security, logging, and monitoring.
  • Drive improvements to these platforms, ensuring operational excellence across Nuix environments.
  • Identify and own opportunities to simplify or automate systems and processes.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines across several product lines, finding opportunities for consolidation across tooling and deployments.
  • Work closely with development teams to assist and recommend deployment and implementation patterns.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Beginner/intermediate-level capabilities in all phases of testing within the SDLC.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and SaaS.
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Configuration Management Experience (Puppet, Chef, or Vagrant preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Jenkins.
  • Experience with building installation packages, Docker containers, and registries.
  • Familiarity with Java, Python, Ruby, Groovy, Scala, Bash, and PowerShell.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
