The role of Community Engagement Officer involves:

  • Developing and implementing community engagement initiatives to inspire people to support ocean conservation.
  • Liaising with diverse stakeholders and building relationships with local communities.
  • Recruiting, training, and motivating volunteers to participate in activities that support campaign objectives.
  • Managing merchandise administration and distribution, including order processing.
  • Collaborating on supporter communications and representing the organisation at community events.
