Medical Science Liaison

At Eli Lilly, we are committed to making life better for people around the world. As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in our Neurology team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare by providing scientific expertise and insights to inform our strategic direction.
Job Purpose:
The MSL will be responsible for maintaining and communicating deep scientific knowledge in the field of neurology. This will involve engaging in continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments, and effectively communicating complex scientific information to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of neurology, including current treatments and emerging trends.
- Communicate scientific expertise and insights to inform Lilly's strategic direction and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with scientific experts and key opinion leaders in the neurology field.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in neurology, and effectively communicate this information to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) required with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience.
- Previous MSL experience or field-based experience building relationships with scientific experts and key opinion leaders will be highly desired.
- Intellectual curiosity about the field of science/medicine for which they are responsible.
- Learning agility to comprehend and effectively communicate large amounts of complex scientific content in a clear and concise fashion.
