Job Title:

Water Tank Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water Tank Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out work activities to ensure that water tank maintenance activities are completed safely, on time and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out regular inspections and maintenance of water tanks;
  • Installing and repairing equipment and performing ROV inspections for customers;
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety practices;
  • Ensuring good housekeeping practices in the workplace;
  • Engaging in continuous improvement activities and tasks within the team;
  • Taking initiative in a small team to solve complex problems associated with the area of influence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in a labour-intensive role with shown ability to work long hours outdoors in direct sunlight;
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans;
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office suite;
  • Proficient with power tools;
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team;
  • Ability to work autonomously and problem-solve where required;
  • Ability to work towards deadlines and deliver high-quality work within those deadlines;
  • Ability to problem-solve;
  • Extensive communication skills (confident both spoken and written);
  • Willingness to travel on an ad-hoc basis as required;
  • Good attitude, the right individual will see potential growth within the role;
  • Working at heights preferred;
  • Confined spaces preferred;
  • Experience working alongside tradesmen, preferred.
