Renewable Energy Operations CoordinatorWe are seeking a proactive and organized Renewable Energy Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Goorambat East Solar Farm in Victoria. This onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys working with contractors and technical teams, and is committed to safety, sustainability, and community engagement.About the RoleAs a Renewable Energy Operations Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance coordination, and performance optimization of the solar farm. You'll work closely with service providers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the site runs safely, efficiently, and in alignment with our sustainability goals.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Maintenance
  • Coordinate daily site activities and liaise with O&M and OEM service providers.
  • Oversee non-electrical maintenance including vegetation management and inspections.
  • Monitor asset performance and escalate issues as needed.
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure site activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Support emergency response drills, incident reporting, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for inspections and audits (WorkSafe, EPA, CFA, ESV).
Performance & Reporting
  • Track operational KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze data to support performance optimization and reporting.
  • Maintain site documentation including maintenance records and contractor logs.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build positive relationships with local communities and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
  • Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and trial new technologies.
  • Facilitate Toolbox Talks focused on safety and efficiency.
Required Skills and QualificationsA diploma or equivalent qualification in engineering, technical, or project coordination disciplines is essential for this role. Strong understanding of electrical systems (HV/LV), solar PV technologies, and asset management is also required.
