The role of a Senior Database Administrator is pivotal in maintaining and scaling dynamic database environments as the company continues to expand its global presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and scaling evolving database systems as the organization expands internationally
  • Providing support for the setup of databases across multiple regions globally
  • Handling various database requests and different database configurations
  • Participating in architecture and environment builds as it relates to these databases
  • Collaborating with a tight-knit team of DBAs in Sydney with future growth plans

To succeed in this position, you will need 10+ years of experience in large-scale critical systems, exposure to working across a range of databases, and experience collaborating with regional/global teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in large-scale critical systems
  • Strong expertise in Oracle and SQL-based systems
  • A proven track record of building and scaling databases as well as maintaining them
  • Experience working with a variety of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB etc)
  • Experience collaborating with regional/global teams
