Job Overview

Our organization is seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to fill the role of Security Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of our premises by conducting regular patrols, including internal and external areas;
  • Responding promptly and effectively to emergencies and alarms, including fire systems;
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents and hazards for future reference;
  • Providing excellent customer service and communicating clearly with colleagues and clients;
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared objectives.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a current Tasmanian Security Licence and First Aid Certificate;
  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends;
  • Good physical fitness and adaptability in high-pressure environments;
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
