A reputable civil construction contractor, Hudson Australia is seeking an experienced Site / Project Engineer to join their team.

About the Role

As a Site / Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design development and planning of Civil Works
  • Coordinating with supervisors, site engineers, and sub-contractors across multiple work fronts and disciplines
  • Working with the project team to arrange scoping, cost estimation of work, and preparation of new forecast and budget allocation
  • Identifying design and constructability issues, and providing efficient solutions that take into account the interests of key stakeholders and the delivery team
  • Managing the procurement of all materials
  • Liaising with clients, the community, the council, and service authorities
  • Ensuring health and safety on site and maintaining quality assurance and compliance
  • Understanding and incorporating client and external stakeholder requirements into project plans, document control procedures, and execution of works
  • Monitoring and reporting construction progress for adherence to project plans
