As a Professional in Exercise and Sports Science, you will be working at the forefront of rehabilitation environments.
Your Key Responsibilities- Supervise client training sessions, conduct strength assessments, and analyze movement to create personalized exercise plans.
- Apply scientific concepts such as biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, and motor control to support clients' goals.
- Provide evidence-based advice on health, fitness, wellbeing, and physical performance.
- Develop tailored exercise prescriptions and plans for each client, ensuring their progress and achieving optimal results.
- Evaluate and reassess clients' goals, adjusting plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with athletes or clients to enhance their peak performance and aid in recovery from injury.
- Complete administrative tasks efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional service while adhering to professional standards.
We are seeking:
- Relevant qualifications, including a Bachelor's degree in Exercise/Sports Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in Physiology & Anatomy, Biomechanics/Human Movement, or Exercise Programming/Prescription.
- Substantial placement/practicum experience in Exercise Prescription is preferred.
- A valid Australian work visa.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- Desirable: 1-3 years relevant work experience, private practice experience, and experience in managing long-term clients in strength training.
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $85,000 AUD per annum.
