The Role

As an Assistant Store Manager based at our Tweed Heads store, you will work closely with your Store Manager to drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a fundamental role in the overall success of Skechers within Accent Group, which continues to be our top-performing brand.

Collaborate with your Area Manager/Mentor by identifying business needs, consumer trends, and team development opportunities to support the growth of a global brand.

A Typical Week

  • Represent yourself through your uniform and fashion-style Monday-Friday and activewear on weekends.
  • Build friendships with a likeminded team who share your passions for fashion, fitness, and relationships.
  • Be mentored and upskilled by down-to-earth Area Managers passionate about your development.
  • Engage with diverse customers including frontline workers, fitness enthusiasts, and those seeking activewear for everyday wear.
  • Ensure efficient store operations to achieve sales targets, KPIs, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Motivate your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets.
  • Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets.
  • Effectively manage wage costs, adhering to weekly targets and rostering standards.
  • Coach and mentor your team to maintain high morale and encourage individual development.
  • Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to state and national legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC.
  • A motivated 'Make it Happen' attitude.
  • A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
  • A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
  • Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
