At Venues NSW, we're seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join our team in Moore Park. This exciting opportunity is focused on construction works and services, working closely with project managers and business stakeholders to plan, source, and manage contractual arrangements that meet organisational objectives.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, sourcing, and awarding construction works and services within the NSW Government procurement policy setting.
- Relevant experience with large infrastructure/facilities with high traffic movement is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with project managers and business stakeholders to plan and source construction works and services.
- Manage contractual arrangements to effectively meet organisational objectives.
- Travel to and from business locations for tender site visits/meetings.
About You:
- A wealth of experience in procurement, ideally in the NSW Government sector.
- Formal qualifications in procurement or relevant degree (e.g., engineering).
- Citizenship or permanent residency in Australia required.
