PERSOLKELLY is a leading recruitment provider in Australia, with a strong presence in the Western Australian Electoral Commission.
We are seeking candidates for various roles to support the electoral process on election day. These roles include Issuing Officers, Student Electoral Officers, Voter Information Officers, General Assistants, Ballot Box Guards, and Queue Controllers.
As an Issuing Officer, you will be responsible for issuing ballot papers to eligible voters and performing other duties as required. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Student Electoral Officer role is ideal for Year 11 or 12 students who want to gain experience in polling place duties. This role involves assisting Officers with various tasks and learning about the electoral process.
Voter Information Officers will engage with culturally and linguistically diverse electors, providing assistance with language, literacy, and other requirements. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
General Assistants will support the setup and operation of polling places, including assisting with the count and pack up after election day. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
Ballot Box Guards will ensure the correct ballot papers are placed into ballot boxes and perform other duties as required. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Queue Controllers will manage the queue into polling places, directing electors as needed. This role requires strong organizational skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
All of these roles are temporary positions, and the duration of employment will vary depending on the specific role and location.
