The Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Partner will provide specialist advice and support to managers and staff across various Health, Safety and Wellbeing issues. This role will involve working with internal and external stakeholders to improve Health and Safety across Melba.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies, procedures, systems, and improvement projects
- Provide practical subject matter advice, conduct risk assessments, and coach managers on HSW investigations and inspections
- Work with the injury management and specialist manual handling ergonomist to provide support and guidance
- Collaborate with HSRs and safety committees to build a culture of consultation around health, safety, and wellbeing improvements
- Contribute to emergency management and business continuity planning to enhance capability and response
- Current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check
- Relevant qualification in health and safety or experience in managing psychosocial risks
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages
- Passion for safety improvements
- Willingness to travel across Victoria
