Key Responsibilities- Provide psychosocial assessments, planning, and intervention for complex patient/family presentations in the healthcare context.
- Develop and implement strategies to address the psychosocial aspects of care for patients, including support, education, and resources.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of the social work role in the identified setting.
- Collaborate with other disciplines and external agencies to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Manage a significant workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Degree in Social Work or other equivalent qualification providing eligibility for membership of AASW.
- Highly demonstrated expertise and knowledge of social work in the context of healthcare.
- Demonstrated excellence in completing psychosocial assessments, planning, and intervention for complex patient/family presentations in the healthcare context.
- Demonstrated skills to participate in the development/monitoring/implementation and review of the social work role in an identified setting.
- Demonstrated commitment and highly developed skills in working with a team approach, alongside other disciplines and external agencies.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal, written, and computer skills.
