Job Opportunity:
">Administration Support RoleThe role is based at a private psychiatric hospital, offering services for individuals with mental health concerns.
A skilled team of professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and allied health staff, work together to provide comprehensive care.
As an Administration Officer, you will support the allied health and administration teams in performing various tasks such as appointment organisation, record management, and billing.
Desirable competencies include previous reception and administration experience, high-level initiative, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork
- Maintain accurate and effective record management and booking systems
- Prepare and maintain day program spreadsheets
- Perform Health Fund Checks
- Undertake private practice billing
- Manage excess/co-payments collections
- Provide back-up support at the reception desk when required
- Liaise with staff from other departments
- Complete clerical tasks such as data entry
- Previous reception and administration experience
- High level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Prior experience in the health industry preferable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Developed organisational skills with task prioritisation and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
