As a seasoned project engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-value infrastructure projects across Queensland.

This dynamic and hands-on engineering position demands your expertise in coordination, buildability insight, and project management support to ensure successful delivery. You will collaborate closely with the project manager, design teams, and site staff to drive quality, compliance, and performance across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure feasibility, accuracy, and compliance during planning and design stages.
  • Review engineering drawings for practicality and constructability.
  • Coordinate effectively between design, procurement, fabrication, and site teams.
  • Provide support for cost, schedule, and risk tracking on live projects.
  • Conduct technical reviews and manage QA documentation (e.g., ITPs, ITCs).
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to monitor procurement and installation timelines.
  • Maintain regulatory, quality, and OH&S compliance across project phases.
  • Offer on-site support during construction and commissioning phases.
About You
  • Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar engineering role, preferably within water or wastewater infrastructure.
  • Strong grasp of engineering drawings, fabrication standards, and site coordination.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling tools (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks) is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
