Job Description

We are seeking a commercially savvy legal professional to join our organization in the role of Legal Counsel.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled lawyer to partner with our internal teams and contribute to the delivery of our strategic goals by providing timely, high-quality, and commercially focused legal guidance that supports our impact, compliance, and growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial law, IP, IT, and competition law, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts with precision and attention to detail
  • Advising on a broad range of legal issues, including general commercial, IP, privacy, and competition law
  • SUPPORTING risk management frameworks and delivering legal compliance training to ensure our organization remains compliant and up-to-date
  • Handling legal matters related to litigation, inquiries, and other complex issues
  • Staying abreast of legal and regulatory developments to provide expert advice and guidance
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) with a current practicing certificate
  • Solid experience in commercial law, IP, IT, and competition law
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and confidently
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Confidence in risk-based decision-making and providing practical, business-focused advice
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments
