About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Store Manager to lead our high-performing supermarket in Port Douglas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business success through effective store management, staff development, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share.
  • Lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for career advancement.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory control, stockroom management, and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and local community groups.
  • Analyse sales data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimise store performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success as a Store Manager or similar role in a supermarket environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in staff development, training, and recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, local market trends, and seasonal produce.
