Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as a Community Care Professional. As a Community Care Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live at home independently for as long as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds, and washing
- Transport clients to appointments and shopping
- Prepare meals
- Provide social support or respite for family/carers
- Assist with personal care, including showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
Requirements
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
- Good communication skills
- A reliable team player
- Understanding of workplace health and safety
- An Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program)
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check
