Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to manage our national service operations. The successful candidate will drive the management and oversight of product fitment, delivery, and rural onforwarding services across Australia.

The role requires overseeing, analysing, and continually improving work team performance, culture, and external perception. This involves setting and ensuring order, fitment, and delivery measurables with a keen focus on Continuous Improvement (CI).

You will also be responsible for making recommendations for reducing costs via monitoring work times, operational reviews, damage, vehicle usage, and maintenance needs. Additionally, you will participate in and assist with scheduling, checking, and review of runs/workloads/schedules.

Liaising between departments is also crucial to promote positive communication, cooperation, respect, and understanding. You will use skills matrixes and assess work section capabilities through training products to provide operational flexibility.

Customer feedback, performance reviews/discussions, positive communication, and occasional 'work-alongs' are essential tools to assist staff reach personal and company goals.

Furthermore, you will oversee and advise satellite sites around Australia by assisting satellite site Managers to monitor, develop, and enhance the performance of their locations. This includes embracing key company ethos and methods, analysing and advising issues, vetting/resolution, enhancement opportunities prior to management review.

Market company capabilities to agreed customer bases/new potential business areas is another critical aspect of the role. This involves visiting established automotive clients/customers, enhancing a database of key industry/customer/client contacts, developing these relationships, rapport, and trust, and providing detailed feedback and issues resolution.
