Maintenance Operations Manager Job Description:

As a key member of the management team, you will oversee our core operations at a leading international contractor. You will lead a team of supervisors and linesmen responsible for operating and maintaining electrical systems and high voltage distribution networks.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of site operations
  • Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and standards
  • Manages resources including manpower, materials, and scheduling
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Conducts audits and inspections to verify work quality
  • Promotes a strong safety culture
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Focuses on long-term goals and outcomes
  • Aligns project outcomes with organizational priorities
  • Collaborates with senior leadership or other stakeholders
  • Problem Solving and Crisis Management:
  • Handles escalated issues and defines solutions to challenges
  • Takes responsibility for decision-making during critical moments
  • Reporting:
  • Prepares reports for stakeholders or senior leadership that highlight progress, concerns, successes, or deficits
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing a team in a leadership role
  • Understanding of electrical systems / HV distribution network (desirable)
  • Construction White Card
  • Drivers Licence
