Key Leadership Role in Engineering

As a leader of engineering, you will oversee a talented team of engineers working across our investment platforms.

This role combines hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, enabling you to shape the technology behind two of Australia's most popular investing websites.

You will drive technical strategy, promote best practices, and play a key role in enhancing our platforms and internal systems.

Additionally, you will mentor your team and foster a collaborative environment where innovation thrives.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Architecting and building the next generation of Australia's most visited stock market platform
  • Re-platforming legacy systems onto modern, scalable infrastructure using appropriate tools
  • Developing high-performance APIs, unified frontend systems, and scalable backend services for millions of investor interactions
  • Implementing AI and LLMs for investment data extraction, content summarization, and automation
  • Mentoring engineers, contributing to technical leadership, and defining engineering standards and strategies
  • Collaborating with product and design teams to influence product direction and roadmap

Requirements:

A lead/full stack engineer with strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and frontend frameworks like or React. Experience with Cloud/AWS to manage infrastructure. An aspiring technical leader eager to grow into a Head of Engineering role. A pragmatic problem solver who prefers elegant, efficient solutions. An engineer comfortable in a fast-paced, product-focused environment with an interest in fintech and data-rich applications.
