A major government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer (Sr. DevOps Engineer) for a 12-month contract to lead the design, automation, and management of cloud-based data infrastructure-primarily focused on Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) systems.

Join a high-impact team responsible for building and maintaining advanced IT platforms that power critical services across Australia. You'll work at the forefront of data and cloud engineering, enabling efficient, secure, and scalable data delivery in support of national programs.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and managing enterprise-scale data infrastructure in the cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Driving automation through infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensuring seamless integration of EDW with modern tools like dbt, Airflow, and other cloud-native services
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and platform specialists
• Enhancing observability, security, and performance of data systems
  
  

We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics Platforms
• Hands-on experience with SAS Grid, SAS Visual Analytics & Teradata
• Strong understanding of DevOps integration in data environments
• Proven expertise in enterprise solution delivery and system integration
• Government experience preferred
  
  

Nice To Have

• Certifications in SAS, Teradata, DevOps, Agile, or ITIL
