About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide strategic and analytical support to our senior leadership team.
As a key member of our risk management team, you will help ensure that we meet our risk and governance obligations by supporting our leadership in governance, oversight, and reporting of credit and non-financial risks.
You will translate executive priorities into actionable insights, reporting, and uplift initiatives, balancing high-level context with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Insight & Reporting:
- Design and automate reporting solutions to enhance day-to-day risk management and decision-making.
- Track and analyse monthly changes in the NFR risk profile.
- Interpret risk data to identify thematic trends and emerging issues.
- Strategic Engagement & Advisory Support:
- Support our leadership by identifying and delivering uplift opportunities in operational risk and compliance practices.
- Prepare monthly briefings on NFR matters.
- Governance & Executive Reporting:
- Lead the biannual preparation of Divisional NFR updates for our Board.
- Review monthly Divisional NFR updates and quarterly OREC submissions.
- Team Collaboration & Capability Uplift:
- Mentor and support team members working on Risk Appetite and Credit Risk.
- Foster collaboration and build analytical and reporting capability across the team.
Requirements
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and review high-quality executive and board reporting.
- Experience in risk, compliance, legal, or Company Secretary functions (or equivalent).
- Strong data capability with demonstrated ability to extract insights from multiple data sources.
- High numerical and financial acumen to interpret and articulate business performance and risk trends.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
