Job Summary:

The National Coalition of Healthcare Recruiters is seeking a seasoned Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare operations team. As a key member of our organization, the Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the administration of care services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative oversight of care administration, including personnel management, quality monitoring, and ensuring current standards are met.
  • Ensure that the skills and educational needs of the staff are met, and that safe patient care is provided by qualified, competent, patient care staff.
  • Oversee clinic operations, including schedules, staffing, quality, and patient complaints.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of care services and achieve organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • BSN required. Master's Degree in nursing or a closely related degree is highly preferred
  • Licensed and Registered Nurse in New York State
  • Minimum of 3 years in a management role
  • Minimum of 5 years of hospital or clinic experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of driving quality improvement initiatives and achieving positive patient outcomes
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem resolution skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and other regulatory agencies' laws and requirements
