Operations Manager Job Summary

A strategic Operations Manager is required to lead our team in Australia, ensuring every trip runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in operations management, ideally within the travel industry.
  • Proven experience with legal and licensing obligations, best practice process design, maintenance, and continuous improvement management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australia, product, itineraries, destinations, and the adventure travel industry.
  • Outstanding communication as well as people and relationship-management skills.
  • A background in managing operations within travel and touring is highly preferable.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian market and be able to work closely with our on-ground leaders and Melbourne-based office team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic operational planning and implementation.
  • Incident and complaint handling.
  • Safety and compliance management.
  • Recruitment, training, and management of team members.

As a core member of the DMC Management Team, you will also contribute to shaping the strategic vision and direction of our country office.
