We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Manager to lead our Emergency Department team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills to join our team and further their career in one of Australia's leading healthcare providers.
About the RoleThe Clinical Manager will be responsible for the operational and clinical management of the Emergency Department, coordinating the activity of the nursing staff and associated resources. Along with the Medical Director of the ED, they will ensure efficient and transparent management, coordination and leadership of the ED team, so they can provide evidence-based and high quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care and services to deliver best patient outcomes and satisfaction ratings;
- Manage clinical risk through following and maintaining clinical guidelines and policies;
- Develop and maintain standards of safe practice;
- Maintain a skilled nursing workforce;
The successful candidate will have empathy-driven approach to leadership, values alignment with Calvary and Care 24-7, experience in Emergency Department Management or similar management of a Critical Care department, Graduate Diploma in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing, AHPRA Registration and ability to work unsupervised.
