Job Description

The Business Services Manager will work closely with a Director to oversee various strategic matters for successful businesses, high net worth individuals and esteemed professionals. The role involves providing tax and cash flow planning advice, including regular monitoring and reviewing income tax, GST and BAS requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge, as well as excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. They will be CPA or CA qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications and have proven experience in a similar role. A passion for business, forward thinking, proactive, self motivated and organised are key attributes required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with existing clients, attending to their commercial matters, preparing tax returns and financial statements, and undertaking compliance and advisory responsibilities.
  • Oversight of task allocation, workflow management and productivity, handling billing preparation and budget management, while keeping knowledge up to date and in line with industry best practices.
  • Providing hands-on guidance and support to direct reports, driving business development efforts, promoting enhancements and efficiencies, and cultivating internal and external networks.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • CPA or CA qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
