This role is responsible for designing and developing critical platform infrastructure components using threading/async programming concepts, high complexity modules/subsystems for controlling analytical instruments and data mining with intelligent algorithms, and evaluating new software development technologies, tools, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze problems to deliver creative, logical, and effective solutions using good design principles.
  • Design and develop critical platform infrastructure components using threading/async programming concepts.
  • Develop high complexity modules/subsystems for controlling analytical instruments and data mining with intelligent algorithms.
  • Evaluate and recommend new software development technologies, tools, and practices.
  • Mentor senior team members and peer review product artifacts including requirement specifications, design specifications, and code.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Long-standing experience (9+ years) in designing and developing applications using OOP/OOD, minimum 5 years in C#/.NET.
  • Experience with n-tier systems, reusable libraries, and development frameworks.
  • Proven experience working in a cross-functional team of technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Familiarity with UML modelling techniques to document design and architecture of software components.
