Software Development Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for mobile products on the Android platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. They will be expected to continually drive delivery and continuous product improvement, maintain the standard for engineering excellence, and support their team members in building products together.

This role requires the ability to innovate and deliver technology solutions that meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate and teacher of TDD and automated tooling, proficient with CI/CD concepts and tooling, and able to make major code design decisions for individual products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications for mobile products on the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and implement software testing strategies to ensure high-quality products.
  • Maintain and improve existing software applications to meet evolving customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Proficiency in Android Studio IDE and familiarity with MVVM and clean architecture patterns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
