You will be responsible for providing cost control technical expertise through timely monitoring, controlling, analyzing, and reporting of project cost & progress information with a strong focus on trending, forecasting, and management of change to contribute towards proactively influencing cost outcomes on the project.

The Role
This challenging and rewarding role involves overseeing the inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies to prevent shortages and minimize excess. You will implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs, plan and coordinate the transportation of materials to and from the construction site, and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
In addition, you will collaborate with construction teams to ensure materials are stored in appropriate locations for easy access and work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand material requirements and timeline.
Your Background
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, as well as 5+ years of experience in logistics and material management, preferably in construction projects or chemical plants.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, transportation logistics, and supply chain best practices is also essential, as is excellent communication and negotiation skills.
