Commercial Director

As a key member of the Super Retail Group team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial success and delivering high-quality business partnering. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analytics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans, forecasts, and performance reporting to support the achievement of profit creation and return on investment (ROI).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term financial plans to drive business growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Own and deliver the monthly program financial forecast and reporting process.
• Provide critical business, financial, and commercial analysis to drive performance and inform business decisions.
• Analyse and recommend business improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction and margin improvements.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders and participate in meetings with Senior Leadership teams to inform and present on Commercial deliverables.

About You

• Proven track record in a Commercial Manager / Finance Business Partner capacity.
• Financial analysis and insights experience, including business case development for large-scale projects and benefits realisation.
• Budgeting and reporting experience for projects.
• Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through proven analysis and financial modelling.
• Commercial and operational focus.
• Desirable: Experience in using enterprise planning tools (Anaplan or similar) and SAP (core Finance modules).
