About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Spirits Specialist to join our team at Dan Murphy's. As a Spirits Specialist, you will be responsible for providing customers with expert knowledge and advice on our spirit selection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage customers in an authentic way, sharing spirit product knowledge and providing exceptional service.
  • Work collaboratively with the store leadership team to set up and facilitate customer events.
  • Advocate for My Dan's loyalty by engaging with customers to understand benefits and product offerings.
  • Assist in developing the product knowledge of team members in the store.
  • Undertake a variety of in-store tasks, including customer service and inventory tasks as well as duty management.
  • Make decisions through and role model our Values and Ways of Working.
  • Contribute to store sales planning processes by sharing your specialist product knowledge and recommendations on product lines.

About You:

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge in spirits, with good knowledge of other categories (wine / beer). You should be passionate about sharing your knowledge with others in a genuine and authentic way. You should also have a passion for learning about new and emerging trends and categories.
