The Therapeutic Home-Based model is designed to provide children with complex care needs a stable, nurturing environment.

You will be supported by a team of professionals, including therapeutic specialists, to ensure you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in your role as a compassionate caregiver.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Embracing individuality: Accept and support the strengths and needs of children and young people.
  2. Providing quality care: Meet the care needs of children with high and complex needs through ongoing training and development.
  3. Collaborative teamwork: Participate in regular Care Team Meetings, working under the supervision of a Therapeutic Specialist to implement therapeutic strategies.
  4. Effective communication: Engage in open and transparent communication with the care team, providing regular updates and receiving guidance.
  5. Home-based support: Welcome increased support and guidance within your home to facilitate therapeutic care planning.
  6. Ongoing learning: Participate in accredited training and reflective practice to continually develop your skills and understanding.
