As a Red Cross Shop volunteer, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about creating a safe and inclusive culture with wellbeing at its centre.

What does the role involve?

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team, welcoming and engaging customers, processing transactions, sorting and pricing donations, creating displays, and keeping the shop clean and tidy. You will also have the chance to learn new skills, such as operating a point of sale system, and gaining experience in a retail environment.

What skills do I need?

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a friendly and positive attitude, be sociable and engaging with others, happy to work as part of a team, flexible and willing to do any tasks required, and committed to your nominated shift.

What's the application process?

The application process is simple and straightforward. Just tell us why you're interested in the role, and we'll arrange a friendly interview in store. You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – You must be 16) and be willing to complete a National Police check and an Induction into our organisation and Retail program.
