Workshop Management Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead and develop a maintenance team to provide high-quality service and workmanship. This includes maintaining, repairing, and servicing our fleet of buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage daily workshop operations to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance workflows, including vehicle servicing, repairs, job card preparation, and maintenance records.
  • Respond to breakdowns and accidents, ordering necessary parts and materials.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and update the ERP system.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and maintain minutes.
  • Ensure the fleet is maintained in a safe and presentable condition that meets regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external contractors to perform work in accordance with agreed standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in heavy vehicles essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Able to motivate and supervise a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within a heavy vehicle workshop.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including alternate weekends.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure in changing priorities and challenging situations.
