
Heavy Vehicle Workshop Manager

The successful candidate will lead and develop a maintenance team to provide high-quality service and workmanship. This includes maintaining, repairing, and servicing our fleet of buses.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage daily workshop operations to meet or exceed expectations.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance workflows, including vehicle servicing, repairs, job card preparation, and maintenance records.
- Respond to breakdowns and accidents, ordering necessary parts and materials.
- Monitor key performance indicators and update the ERP system.
- Conduct regular team briefings and maintain minutes.
- Ensure the fleet is maintained in a safe and presentable condition that meets regulatory requirements.
- Manage external contractors to perform work in accordance with agreed standards.
- Experience in heavy vehicles essential.
- Demonstrated experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Able to motivate and supervise a team to deliver exceptional results.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within a heavy vehicle workshop.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including alternate weekends.
- Able to remain calm under pressure in changing priorities and challenging situations.
