Job Overview

Lead the implementation of DevOps practices and cloud solutions to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure environments using automated Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost-optimised cloud solutions.
  • Lead system design activities for strategic, large, and complex systems development programmes.
  • Provide advice and guidance on Information Security practices to ensure secure cloud solutions.
  • Lead integration work in line with agreed system and service design, measure and monitor applications against development standards.
  • Assess risks and take preventative action.
  • Provide advice and guidance on test planning and execution, adopting modern testing methods, automated tools, and techniques.
  • Gather requirements through business consultation and collaboration, identify functional needs, and define and implement cloud solutions as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, evaluate benefits of adoption, and drive adoption within the organisation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud security, access controls, and privacy compliance/regulations.
Requirements
  • Mid-senior level experience in DevOps engineering.
  • Proven track record in leading the adoption of DevOps practices and cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, security, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
