The Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a seasoned technical specialist with expertise in developing and winning strategic opportunities that drive end-to-end security thought leadership, customer value, and transformational outcomes.

This role involves close collaboration with Microsoft Engineering, Global Black Belt Teams, and customers to provide thought leadership and help build robust protect, detect, and response strategies for cybersecurity. As a subject matter expert, you will work closely with customers to design and implement secure digital transformation strategies, leveraging your knowledge of enterprise customer experiences with Microsoft and competitive security solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagements: Lead end-to-end Microsoft Security conversations with customers, showcasing our platform capabilities to senior stakeholders.
  • Scale Through Partners: Engage extensively with Microsoft partners to support them in key scenarios and enhance their technical capacity.
  • Solution Design & Proof: Demonstrate and present architecture patterns, prove capabilities integration into customer environments, and drive cross-workload support for Microsoft solutions.
  • Coaching and Education: Grow extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust, and cloud security space domain knowledge and practices expertise, acting as a mentor for Microsoft Security and its integration with other products and services.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong background in technical pre-sales or consulting experience, ideally with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CEH, LPT, CISSP, CCSP, or CCIA, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • A growth mindset, passion for learning, and commitment to implementing best practices from others.
  • Excellent people, organizational, presentation, technical product demo, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
