We are seeking a Senior Accountant to Assistant Manager to play an integral part in enabling our next phase of growth. This role is perfect for those who want to leverage their skills and experience to drive business outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed efficiently.
- Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, driving revenue growth through innovative solutions.
- Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
- Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for various companies and trusts.
- Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, building long-term relationships and driving business loyalty.
Requirements:
- 3 - 4+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
- Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar.
- Expertise in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, Xero and Quickbooks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
