Compassionate Patient Care Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker. This is a part-time opportunity supporting various departments across the hospital.
In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining patient comfort and safety while contributing to the smooth operation of our hospital. We are looking for someone with a Certificate III in Health Services who is passionate about providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.
- Assist clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care and support.
- Provide transport services using hospital-approved equipment and vehicles.
- Support patients on admission and help them settle comfortably.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and shared areas in line with infection control standards.
You thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting, are able to adapt quickly to changing demands, and consistently uphold high standards of service and professionalism.
To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III in Health Services or equivalent.
- Experience working in a clinical hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hospital safety procedures.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
Desirable qualifications and experience include a Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance.
