Dental Treatment Coordinator Role

The primary goal of this position is to provide exceptional support to patients undergoing treatment. As a key member of the dental team, you will play a pivotal role in converting patient treatment plans and leads generated by marketing efforts.

To excel in this position, you must possess excellent organizational skills, be able to communicate effectively, have a positive attitude, demonstrate consistent follow-through, and be adept at multitasking.

Your main responsibility will be to assist dentists in educating patients about recommended treatments and coordinating personalized treatment plans that cater to both patient and clinic needs.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for surgery patients, booking appointments, providing consultations, guiding them through treatment options, and working directly with clinicians to create bespoke treatment plans.

From dental implants, All on 4's, veneers to wisdom teeth extractions, you will be the patient's advocate every step of the way, helping navigate concerns such as payment plans, timing of treatment, or scheduling conflicts as they decide to move forward with necessary work.

Responsibilities:

  • Treatment Options Explanation: Clearly explain treatment options and related costs to patients
  • Treatment Plan Coordination: Coordinate treatment plans with doctors and present them to patients
  • Treatment Timelines Knowledge: Familiarity with treatment timelines and prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with patients
  • Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate with other offices sharing patient care, ensuring referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on
  • Patient Liaison: Liaison between dentist and patient, assisting in gathering information during the new patient experience
  • Outbound Calls: Outbound calls to leads with high conversion rates
