Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working on a variety of heavy machinery, including trucks, excavators, and generators. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
  • Diagnostics and repair of complex mechanical issues, including electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order, and perform regular safety inspections
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent and materials used

Requirements:

  • Driver's License
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
