Industry Development Coordinator

This role oversees the development, implementation and ongoing management of apprenticeship and traineeship programs. The Industry Development Coordinator works closely with industry professionals and internal leaders to ensure effective delivery and alignment with company goals and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing governance of apprenticeship and traineeship programs across QLD;
  • Reviewing opportunities for continuous improvement;
  • Developing and implementing recruitment processes;
  • Managing onboarding processes;
  • Monitoring progress and providing support to apprentices and trainees;
  • Influencing through visible leadership;
  • Leading improvement initiatives;
  • Establishing goals and targets;
  • Developing systems for skillset generation;

Applicants will have a thorough understanding of mining and educational requirements of apprenticeships & traineeships.

Preferred skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong organisational and project management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with training software and tools;
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and best practices;
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to addressing challenges;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

This is a mid-senior level, full-time administrative role within the mining industry.
