Key Role in Project Development

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of projects across various stages.

Working closely with Reservoir and Field Development Teams, you will be responsible for framing upcoming and future projects, overseeing Assess and Concept Select gates, and coordinating inputs and key deliverables to deliver the Project Frame, Project Plan, and Project Execution Plan.

With a focus on delivering value in the program, you will ensure accurate project budgets are established, complete scope and opportunities are identified and implemented, and oversee budget in line with company requirements. You will also drive business outcomes by taking accountability for presentation material, co-ordinating close out actions, and liaising with assurance teams.

This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across various levels of the business and influence key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

Based in Brisbane, this position reports directly to the Development Manager and offers opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Reservoir and Field Development Teams, Pre-development Leads, and Execution Team Leads.
  • Co-coordinate inputs and key deliverables to deliver the Project Frame, Project Plan, and Project Execution Plan.
  • Drive business outcomes by ensuring accurate project budgets are established, complete scope and opportunities are identified and implemented, and oversee budget in line with company requirements.
  • Liaise with assurance teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Take accountability for presentation material, co-ordinate close out actions, and manage risk reviews to ensure robust governance mechanisms are in place.

  • Proven experience in project development and delivery, with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
