Job Description
  • Server:

Maintain quality and timeliness of service, practicing effective up-selling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue.

  • Accurately bill guests, manage cash handling and float procedures.
Host:

Complete daily operations, including opening and closing duties, daily cleaning, dining room preparation, moving and arranging tables and chairs, reservation bookings, confirmations and cancellations, coordinating FOH and BOH services.

  • Meet, greet and seat guests, maintaining daily floor plans to suit forecasted guest and staffing levels.
Food Porter:

Transport food from the kitchen to the dining room efficiently, assisting guests with menu items in an informative and helpful way.

Requirements
  • Pro-Serve Certification for Alberta prior to start date.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment preferred (dependent on position).
  • POS system experience an asset.
  • Affinity for the hospitality industry, with knowledge of food and drink.
  • Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40+lbs, standing for 8 hours or more.
