As a Preadmissions Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day coordination of the Preadmissions team and function. Your key responsibilities include managing theatre lists, bed utilization, and patient movement along the Continuum of Care to ensure optimal resource utilization.

The role is both operational and strategic in nature, requiring you to deliver improved efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance the quality and timeliness of the Preadmissions service.

">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • Clinical Proficiency: A clinically proficient and experienced nursing leader with recent senior nursing experience, ideally within a Preadmissions team and/or setting requiring clinical assessment of patients' health status.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to motivate people to achieve outcomes.
  • Negotiation, Communication, and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to establish effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management, Decision Making, and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated project management, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant systems, particularly Microsoft Office and Patient Information Management System (PiMS).
